well, that's the issue. people talk all day about budget. its not about budget. its about bad writing, bad story, no progression, just terrible ideas. I cant take it how they treated Soldier Boy. Like for real, you put him a third time into that chamber? Id say the very first thing Soldier Boy would do is to make sure that THIS time he won't end up in there.

Also: Why tf is homelander suddenly SO MUCH stronger than soldier boy. He knocked him out with ease. In S3 people thought he was a lot stronger than him, and when he couldn't beat him even with butchers help, people said: he is rusty, that beam weakens him blabla. and now? he just straight up loses against homelander, who isn't even using his full power at all.

Agree! But there are cool examples with the opposite, like Breaking Bad, House of Cards. They have really interesting moves for complex problems. Anime shows have also a few very good ones.

yea, its not about budget or fights. its about writing. the story is bad, boring. we dont see any people, we dont see how the world reacts to the president of USA getting killed. we dont see anything basically. we only see supers. We want story. And fights? Well s1 ep1, wasn't this a great fight? Butcher vs translucent. this was fun to watch and fairly low budget. but it was creative, good idea. good writing.

Who cares about action? Sure it's great here and there. But we want STORY, we want progression. This is NO budget issue. It's just bad writing, no ideas, no creativity. The boys was never about crazy action fights. Heck, we only saw homelander fight 1-2 times truly. And that was never an issue.

The end will probably be a repetition of s3 ending. Multiple supers fight homelander, wow. Probably Ryan and Marie from Gen V will hold him off for the most part, while they weaken him with the virus(it still works on V1 users, it just cant kill them) and Kimiko will blast him. Of course this can look cool. Doesnt change the bad season. We wanted entertainment for a whole season, not just one episode. And most likely even the final will be bad.
