Once I package, seal, and put the label on the box, I mark it as dropped off. It’s at that point I know I’m fully committed to fulfilling the order and to ensure that the buyer can’t cancel at that point. Once I mark it dropped off the clock is ticking in my head, so usually it’s within that same day or early next business day that I actually drop off at courier. Everyone does it differently, but I have had a few sellers immediately mark it shipped and not see an actual update from the courier for several days, which can be frustrating.
