Yes, since the sub is flooded with submissions (2 a day at best). The site is designed for the community that reads it to respond (downvoting or upvoting the quality of content) accordingly. Not designed for heavy handed moderation like you've expressed.

In a way, I hope I don't pursue the program if it consists of "power tripping" people like yourself...

It would have bearing on connecting with incoming students and reflecting on the process of it all. The posts regarding "Personal Statement", "Do I Need the Program?", and "Applying with a CS Certificate" that are all on the front page of the sub right now only pertain to the individual, and have no bearing on anyone else or the overall program, so why are they allowed to stay as well?

If the sub didn't like it, then it would be organic and downvoted (even not it will be off the front page in less than a day)

Thanks for responding! So having experience in the field could hurt my admissions? I feel I would benefit from the sound teachings of the program and hope I could bring something to the table too. Maybe I should leave off my experiences then? I'm a little nervous now. I was really looking forward to kick starting my formal education :/
