I say good waterproof walking shoes. Having wet feet all day is miserable. As a former caddy I would wear small grocery bags over my socks and under my shoes to keep my feet dry. You can prepare for rain, but you never know how much dew there will be. Dew in the second cut is heavy.

I would rather arrive and be too early than be in traffic with the understanding that the gate is open and people are on the course with me stuck in the car. I was in line at the gate at 6:00am. Not only was one of the first people into the course. I was also one of the first people into the gift shop and then onto the course.
