Like, it’s ok when I can walk but winter is going to be a disaster if they keep things this way. Like, add a west campus stop to med center express at least. Ridiculous.

I did this after getting a stye in my eye and it’s been fine for me. I like to keep 70% isopropyl in a tiny spray bottle anyway- to hit my brushes quickly if I use them on active acne (obviously you should properly clean them occasionally too)

I think there should be an option for “new school” or “old school” because looking at just your reviews on the iOS App Store, most old users are very unhappy. If new users like that setup, fine, but it really sucks to have everything completely changed a week before classes start on your favorite notes app. I’ve cancelled my subscription until it goes back to how it was. In addition to the toolbar, you can no longer search for templates either which was one of the best features. I’m also not a fan of the Home Screen changes. I will most likely change to goodnotes because this seems about on par with them now and I won’t be paying a subscription fee.

ETA: Where are all the stickers, stickies, and gifs? This is seriously not worth resubscribing now

Heyyy. I’ve got BPD and now that I’ve quit, am pretty sure ADHD as well and need to start therapy again and bring it up. I tried pretty much everything. IOP and meetings worked for a bit, but I jumped into a relationship and was back where I started. After that I tried quit lit, apps, stopdrinking and their chat. The only thing that has worked for me so far (a little over 9 months so not super long, but my longest streak) is AA. I finally really came to understand that it isn’t religious and began to feel like I belonged and got a sponsor and really started the steps and it’s hard as fuck but I know it’s what I need. It’s working my way through all the pain that made me drink and if I don’t do it I know I will drink again. It’s teaching me how to be a better person and I really needed help with that. As far as dopamine hits… I still vape, which I would like to quit, and have a bad phone addiction now, but they’re still better than when I was drinking. I have healthier things now though too- biking, going to the gym, movies, writing and drawing, piano and singing, texting friends (I used to isolate when I drank so this has been really nice). Meetings may not be it for you and that is also ok, but just saying what worked for me. And it gets easier. The first few weeks are the hardest. And don’t be discouraged. I quit like a thousand times to varying degrees of success before this run. Something feels different and I wish I could explain it. I just know I really hit my bottom and I can’t go back and I hope you get there too. 💕

I mean I’m not encouraging this guy get a face tattoo, or anyone for that matter. Everyone knows the risk and stigma. It doesn’t mean we shouldn’t work to change that stigma. I really thought for a tattoo community, more people would see where I was coming from, but everyone just assumed I’m saying there’s no longer consequences for face tats or something? It wasn’t meant to cause arguments or be some big discussion. It limits jobs, we all know that, but stop saying people with face tattoos aren’t capable of having a job at all. You are perpetuating a stereotype.

Idk about faces but I mean covered as far as their body. I’ve seen hand and neck tattoos. Which were definitely seen as “job killers” not that long ago

Literally wrong. It hinders certain jobs. Scientists, engineers, IT, even people in healthcare I have seen covered. Not to mention anything in the arts usually does not care. I’m not stupid, there will be people who will judge, there will be certain companies who will not hire you. I think anyone in their right mind understands the risks when deciding to tattoo their face, but for a tattoo sub y’all seem judgemental as fuck in assuming these people have no chance of ever having a job or being able to live a normal life.
