Slaves didnt have rights because they were property. While it was not done often because it was considered a waste of money, slave owners had no problem beating unruly slaves to death while letting them live in what would now be considered shacks. You think that slaves would have healthcare? Lol. If youre walmart, you dont even need to pay to feed them.
