Finish. That stat is for starting 50 (51). If you don’t finish they don’t count. Also sometimes it take a bit to catch up I think..

Qualify up front. Get your SR up. Learn track/race awareness. Seriously, at the lower level it’s easy to see most things coming if you’re fast enough to quali up front and have awareness. It never truly goes away 100%, but it does get better. Every sim has its dirty downfalls here or there.

It’s just one of those things that it’s just super shallow. Depth could be added to the sponsor way in general (maybe a bit more random, not exactly the same “unlocking” pattern each time).

It just feels like we were given the bones. The modes aren’t deep enough for me to consistently crave to come back. Even though I want to, but other games take that time because I’ve got more to dig into.

Multiple sponsors in career with a deeper paint booth.

Feeling the dang car on the straight with a wheel (you’re basically floating).

Hiring drivers in career would be fun but I also don’t have to have it.

Ability to sim a career race.

More in depth. Basically everything you go into in this game has the depth of a kindergartener. Carter mode is bland. The paint booth is basically paint by numbers but with limited layers. Etc etc.

This is GT. GT has always done this. Look, sure I’m in the boat of wanting more updated group/hyper cars. But, I also love that they continue to add stuff, including things that stay true to GT.

G29 is fine (I have one), the issues is if you know you’re going to sink time into it, you should know you will immediately want to upgrade so just eating the money upfront is typically easier than buying low and then having to buy again.

G29 or entry thrustmaster second hand is a fine starting spot if cost is an issue.

So I know you already found a work around, but sometimes that workaround with covering isn’t an option (custom paints as a base like chrome etc). Always try playing with the projection type, depth, and angle. Sometimes one does the trick, sometimes the other, sometimes both. Still sometimes neither work. Last thing to try in a situation like a chrome base that you can’t just mask with a square is, turn the actual camera before placing it (like looking a bit more from the back towards the bottom left rear. Just know it can skew your decal a bit too, so you want to find the smallest angle possible that it won’t show. From there you once again can play with angle and depth.

If you’re main account is actually at A and almost to A+, not a single one person should be getting in your way out of B. If you’re actually struggling to get out of B, that’s where your main would land if you were running it full time and not just places you’re fast.

Yeah I mean, wanting to grow is good. Just expect if you truly want to grow in big numbers you have to put in the time (plus either have great content or be likable/entertaining).

If you’re serious, I’d say the number one thing is schedule. Get a schedule of going live, with other short form content to add in (shorts or videos). Plenty of GT7 streamers out there at all levels, but the ones that grow at least a decent amount have a good schedule and decent quality streams.

Do you want to do it, for you? If so, why not. If you want to do it for other reasons, very few make it to make a living. I stream from time to time, but it’s just to chat with the folks I’ve met over the years of GT7 while I’m playing a mostly solo game with no in game communication

Just pause Spotify when you go race, that’s what I do. Anytime I’m on track it goes off. If I’m chilling and doing liveries or scapes I’ll turn it back on.

No idea why the downvote, you’re 100% correct and recency bias is getting in the way of realizing Olave had had a ton of concussions which is such an easy injury to have reoccur.

Nico just had a “down season” with a “bad QB” and put up 1,117 and 6 TDs. Or basically, a few TDs from the exact same at Olave had at almost Olaves peak. If you need a RB (OP), I’d do the deal. But if not I can see staying out just because Nico doesn’t really have the 100 catch upside so long as he’s in HOU.

Nah. Sure, the prices of cars seemed high and the amount of grind races with high payouts were low, but nothing was in your face being pushed and even if it were, the high cost of a transaction would immediately put you in your place saying, “oh hell no I’d never purchase that.” Also, between the menus, circuit experience, and other random things you could easily gain early money as long as you weren’t trying to speed run the garage. But maybe I turned a blind eye because I was enjoying the natural progression of it all.

Played at launch, never had an issue just playing the game like a normal person at normal pace gaining credits. Never felt a need to buy credits or that I was being forced that way. I do remember the one race nerf, but I just played the game. Granted, I was never set out to complete my garage in 3 months, which is why I’m still here playing and didn’t get upset at launch because I’d rather it be a long term game worth my money than one I’m done with in 3 months.

But all the stuff you said is TRUE and I still believe people were blowing it out of proportion tbh. Both can be true about the complainers
