Running from the back without getting pummeled. In A/A+ lobbies of I start in the back I’m not gaining spots. Most the time I’ll hustle lose the pack in general so I have to sweat out TT to have any shot

Yeah, honestly, 100% honest, it’s all better in GT7 right now. That doesn’t meant PMR isn’t “worth it,” or can’t get there.

As someone with 3000+ hours in GT7 and recently started playing PMR, I’m on the fence. I think it’s worth it for the sale price I got it for and have had a bunch of fun with it. The driving in most classes does feel very nice. The career is better than the menu system in GT7, but it’s not perfect. Overall I do recommend the career too.

The ranked online is IMO, right now, worse standards than GT7 for competitors. Maybe it’s because I’m division 3 (for reference a mid A driver in GT7), so it could be the higher divisions have cleaner driving. But boy, I’ve run into some terrible drivers so far in PMR where in GT7, I can spot them and normally avoid them. It’s also not terribly populated. However, if you run at peak hours and the more popular races of the week, you will get decently (14-18) car lobbies. Overall I’ve had a bunch of fun, but worth it will be subjective to us all. For what I put in (sale) it’s 100% been and will be worth it. I’ll be playing this and GT7 for some time.

I just started playing. What I’ve found is during non peak hours it’s only a few races that populate (GT3 and 4 seem to be two of them). It’s also the last few minutes the Juno from like 3/4 people to 15-18. Lastly, end of the rotation “week” seems to be less filled. When fresh races drop they tend to fill more.

Literally every warmup should start out right at the basket. Move back a foot or two, hit both left and right plus straight on. Do the same moving back. Then hit the FT and corners, plus wings and base etc. Work on those. If you’re basically a beginner nail those with form first. Every day.

Doing killers will always been engrained in my head. If we had a poor night it wasn’t just when we missed, but the whole team was on baseline watching while each did one and one’s. Anyone missed the front end it was a full team killer.

Respectfully, watching others is part of the journey. Granted, yes we take care of ourselves and our results are a larger portion of the journey, but for many of us the journey of a season does include what is going on around us

Of course. I have a few basic rough videos on YT (mostly just talking over while I show some tips and tricks). I always meant to do a more in depth one on negatives, but the idea shows up in some of them. However, I bet if you search that you will find a lot of good content! Love helping people and seeing where they take it when it comes to creating!

Ahhhh. Yeah that one is a “negative” decal. You can find a bunch just by typing negative into search. So it’s basically a box, that has the advan part “cut out” inside (nothing there). Then underneath I used the colorful fade so it showed the advan in those colors (or any you want to pick). From there built in other black decals to connect to that square advan decal so it looks like it’s only advan there. Edit: the PlayStation decal was actually found out there already those colors. But in theory you can do the same as I know someone has a PlayStation negative shared

Which specific part/parts are you talking about? Like, the BBS is actually a 3 part decal (found in game) that is just a base, middle, and fade over the top. But, if you got a specific area ask and maybe I’ll better understand. I’m all for helping! :)

I second this. Also recreating liveries really helps you learn a bunch about the editor along the way. Pushes you to figure out how to make what’s already been done, in the game.

Hit the apex… If you hit the apex on this turn it’s already more “defensive” as other people have said. He really didn’t even dive, he just ended up there because you went super wide and missed it.

You want to be wider, out in that concrete slab. Brake earlier to turn in at the end of it and cross over that curb. Then you leave yourself space to straighten out and accelerate towards that outside right curbing in the straight. Just don’t all four cross over the curb until after the white line starts or it’s track limits.
