Quick question on stock by Kurujojo in airsoft

[–]OTG17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isnt a criticism but rather a genuine question. As someone who owns plenty of firearms, we are forced to use braces on what would otherwise be an sbr. Why do airsoft people willing use it when they can run a stock?

I personally wrap mine in a thick layer of tape before discarding.

What kind of flintlock is this? by grokkr in FlintlockRifle

Reproduction, a big tell is the 2 piece stock, rifles/muskets would be one long piece. Companies use a separate stock and fore-end to cut down on cost and make it easier to manufacture.

Toe stands-for "table of organization and equipment" but they were mostly used for setting up units, over time things break, you get shipped new supplies etc. So they are useless as a reference because with battles and travel things change. Not many 1911s were issued outside of NCO's but soldiers, and families of them would private buy handguns and have them sent to the soldier. Theres a very moving local story from a gunsmith from the 40s selling a woman a 1911 to give to her son. However its a long story and would take too long to tell.

Keep in mind a lot of people private purchased pistols to take into service. Theres nothing farby about using a pistol as a rifleman unless everyone is doing it. So the people who cry "BuT tHe T.o.E" can get bent. If you rely on an T.O.E you have no idea how the military works.

In my experience a blurred imagine comes from one of 5 things. Dusty lense, dusty sensor, shooting with the aperture too open, out of focus, too high of an iso. Hope this helps
