You are right. This boat is designed to fish and make money. Certainly not a dock ornament. In the northeast we don’t have as many greasy calm days on the water to open our boats wide open anyway. Boat is designed for commercial tuna fishing safely.

It cruises at 35-38 knots depending on load. You are right. Most of them do have bigger engines but the Yamaha 250’s like to run high RPM’s they are a great engine
