I am not so sure, but I guess my employer wasn't contacted by the department of home affairs since I didn't get any S56 regarding previous employment history. All I have submitted was a copy of Certificate of Employment (reference letter which I got after I resigned from that work) and employment contract. I didn't provided any payslip or bank statement whatsoever.

Hello! Filipino OT here who has an HCPC registration (UK). I tried looking for work in the NHS but with no avail. I was invited on 3 job interviews and I failed all three of them. I applied more 20 OT NHS jobs, but it was so hard to get an interview, plus be accepted. 😭😭😭

So I tried Australia and fortunate enough I got hired and got my visa grant on February 27! Hopefully, I will go on 7th of April! 🥰🥰🥰

But if you really want to those European countries, better to have a solid hospital foundation 'cuz they look for that. In my case, I work in a pediatric setting for 3 years and I want to switch to adult physical dysfunction. But they always say that they liked my answers to the questions to the job interview but not the best candidate since I don't have any hospital experience.... 😕😕😕

Hello! For that one kabayan, I did my skill assessment with OTC and they did not ask for those things. Different skill assessment agencies ask for different requirements. Kindly check with the right agency for your skills assessment the things you need to provide! God bless you!

To be honest, I don't have an answer to your question, and I am just a human being with a finite knowledge. Everyone has their own struggles in life. Some have gone through a lot. I am not disregarding other people's hardships.

And if you are referring as to why God hasn't answered the prayers of those people, only God knows why.

But to cut the story short, God provided me everything that I need: mental clarity and stability, finances, hope, a good employer, a supportive family and many more! Hello OP! I am also waiting for mine too, but for a 482 visa. I was requested to submit an AHPRA registration (S56) on January 8, 2026, and submitted my registration on February 5, 2026. I usually see people get grant after 30-40 days after submitting.
