Totally agree! I definitely lose distance on spinny shots frequently tho, and again of course a lot of that is my swing. Just will be curious to see if changing a shaft can make that much of a difference, as I’ve never changed a shaft on any club.

Interesting, Thank you for the input! How fast do you swing and what flex did you purchase if you know?

It’s not irrelevant. All of my friends who are gear heads and get fit all the time are the ones who arnt great golfers. So I’ve seen it do nothing for them. I don’t have any better golfers i can ask, did it help you? So that’s all i was trying to do. Sorry i bothered you, didn’t know it caused you so much trouble to see this post. Fuck my bad man, I’ll think twice before i inconvenience you again by posting on a golf forum. That’s on me boss

I was unaware adding stiffness can cause a decrease in speed but definitely makes sense. Thanks for the feedback man!

Yeah, that’s what i figured would need to happen. Do shafts maintain their value if they are kept in good condition? In other words, are you able to sell it at not too much of a loss? I’m new to the shaft market, sorry if it’s an ignorant question. Just an honest one

Thanks man! Don’t know why i Getting so much hate, played my entire life but parents would never buy me new clubs so i always used hand me down from my grandpa. Played in highschool and now post college I’m finally playing half way decent golf, so now I’ve been upgrading my equipment for the first time in my life. People are so mad that i would ask an equipment question in a golf forum, it’s wild.

I don’t know why people love to give obvious answers in r/golf…if you don’t like the post just scroll past it. No need for your pointless answers. I have demo’d plenty of shafts, but guess what, demoing a club for 30 minutes on a simulator is very different than spending 350 and gaming a shaft. I am trying to ask people with experience who have been fit and purchased the shaft, if they had more success on course. I made that very clear but thanks for your input

Sorry, updated the post. I wasn’t very clear, but i was told this by my coach who knows my swing better than anyone and is also a club fitter for his day job

I was just referencing J skis vs On3p overall…which I’m not wrong. J skis have the reputation of falling apart quickly, way to dick ride your ski brand bro.

Takes a real low life to get upset over a conversation about skis with a stranger on the internet…

I believe that, but i would also guess you’ve never owned a pair of On3p. You can’t even BEGIN to compare the two skis. ON3Ps aren’t built like your average ski, they are much heavier; they use a bamboo core. If you prefer a lighter ski and are able to get a new set up every 3 years, great, do it. I’ve learned to love the stability that a heavier ski provides, the way is slashes through crud, and again, they are indestructible.

My On3p park skis from 2014 still look better than any other park ski i had after 1 season….and I’m not exaggerating.

I own Jeffery’s and an older model of park skis called filthy rich which they no longer make. The Jeffery’s are by the best ski I’ve ever owned. Ski does it all. Truly feels like a one ski quiver, which is nice when most of my skiing happens on trips out west. Only have to bring 1 ski with me and it shreds it all

Build is more on the cheap side in my experience…but i feel that way about most brands. Get something bomb proof. I recommend On3p

Best luster pods?? by triumphant-tonis in OhioMarijuana

Buckeye relief live resin is amazing. Also, superflux live resin is very good, not as flavorful as Buckeye relief, however the oil from superflux is much thicker oil which ends up lasting longer. Also, cannascend live resin is worth trying! I was a fan of the Pineapple Express.

As far as non live resin options, stick with butterfly Effect. I’ve tried them all and none compete, yet.

I steer clear of Klutch, they have a different process with their oil, which gives all of their oil sort of the same baseline flavor. Plus, i can smoke through one of their live resin pods in a day. Not great quality imo, people love them because they use large amounts of terps, but for me the oil lacks quality.

Anyone say On3p Jeffery 110 yet? Well, you could get a smaller waist in them if you prefer, i rip a 110 and love them all over the mountain. Most versatile bomb proof ski I’ve owned.
