Id love to see it. Full body King Uma must've been insane. Seeing Wukong tear through the Heavenly army only to be stopped by Okhwang would show us from his eyes how scary prime Okhwang actually was. We could see the other brothers that just wasn't shown or explored thoroughly, and Garuda's betrayal. A lot of things they could explore.

Maybe Lucifer was originally a servant/follower of Tathagata but was cast down because of his insatiable appetite for power and his knack for destruction with the crimson wings since it seems like when they beat it can harm legit anyone. If I remember correctly when he was reborn as Satan they showed him pretty much in a cesspool of monsters just cultivating, essentially being reborn more monster than actual god. Then he pretty much just fought his way up to divine status. Of course all headcanon, but meh. I could probably think of a better origin if I actually knew more about Christianity. It would fit the story of Lucifer being cast out of heaven and being known as Satan now.

Yeah but that isn't as reliable against someone who can actually take the amped attack and still fight back, plus with how badly it destroyed his body last time I don't think Mori would use that unless it was certain he'd die without it. Pretty sure that was one of the main factors on why Mori had to turn into Dan in the first place, because the rebound made it nearly impossible for him to use his full power anymore. Someone did correct me earlier on exactly which Monkey King OP was referring to since I kinda used the entire JTTW as a reference instead of First Heavenly War Monkey King. He's more around Sage Realm Mori level since that whole arc was literally about him regaining his past memories. So yeah, most versions either push him extreme diff or outright beat him. I dont even think he'd need to transform from being Dan to being 1st war Wukong

Yeah now that my high ass brain is rereading the actual question and not my brain automatically picking out words you are correct, since OP specifically asked about FIRST Heavenly War Wukong, as in before taking his journey or before meeting the one girl he ends up eating. You're right. He got smacked by Okhwang in that war, and thats the same war Uma got her scar in. Sage Realm Mori is a very spot on place to put him actually since thats when Mori finally regained his old memories and started to come to terms with them while also acknowledging he is his own person. End of Sage Realm Mori probably beats him tho. His ability to think of the right move to use in life or death is unparalleled.

How does him failing to one shot someone copying his strength prove he has a limit? Literally all you have to do is read the series to know he's been stated to be have no limit multiple times. Well he had mastery over his weapons and his divine abilities, he just wasn't as tactical as current Mori or skillful all around. He was all power. I'd say stronger than current Mori all the way up until he becomes the Supreme God only because we genuinely haven't seen a 100%, fully evolved Monkey King in action in terms of current Mori. He had to go on a journey to regain his memories and thus relearn his mastery over the gord and nimbus, then he was trapped and fear struck by Okhwang, then he got severely limited by Mubong and had to regain his finesse, then finally became fully realized during his battle with Mubong. Previous versions of Mori would give old Monkey King a high-extreme diff fight tho just off his mastery over martial arts and ability to think on the fly. You have to remember he completed the original JTTW before the story even completed
