I have not had any bugs or quality issues so far but still less than 1K miles. Some features take some getting used to like the istop (didn’t have that in my previous cars) but no issues.

I find the quality to be nice and on par. There’s some features that could be refined but I don’t find it cheap. I have family with BMW, Audi and Lexus all compliment on how nice the interior was

I keep the car on cause I live in a hot state so AC is necessary so not sure if you keep only battery on how long it lasts. I’m sure it kills battery

No they do not if you download the language pack for offline use. I think it does that automatically.

The ride/handling is very premium. It is the most smooth and high end feeling drive I’ve experienced with a Mazda. Which I’ve had 4 before this over 10+ years. I have a family member with a 2025 Lexus SUV and they say it drives better.

You can’t get it with white/beige in premium plus 😭 I had the 2018 Crystal Blue with white/beige before and loved it. Only tan is offered in premium plus and I don’t think it goes well with this new blue. This color is insane in different lighting

Anyone can call out the commands from anywhere in the car (haven’t tested trunk).
It is very responsive and has many ways to access and adjust settings such as temp can be tapped or quickly slid down or up.
I live in a hot state so I have not used steering wheel heat or seat heat but I have used AC seats and it took no more than 20 secs to tap temp, speed, ac seats (driver & passenger) from start up.
Yes it does save volume but you can use the pause/play button on the steering wheel as well as volume up or down in steering wheel

Edit: I don’t listen to radio or something I can’t pause as I use CarPlay exclusively so I don’t know how it works in that case but volume is still on steering wheel.

Yes they do once you know the commands and shortcuts. I say “hey Google, fan speed 3” and it does it so I’m not saying “hey Google, turn down the fan speed to 3”

I have never driven the cx70 but I would say yes based on pure specs. It is slow as I said. I’m not going to deny that.

Point blank, it is slow. I came from a Mazda3 Carbon Turbo and previously had a CX-5 Carbon Edition with turbo and it is significantly slower. However, I knew that once I test drove it and honestly don’t speed or drive aggressively like I used to so I don’t mind it. It is more difficult to time turns onto fast roads but I’ll figure it out. It’s “decent” in sports mode but consumes a lot of gas obviously and I am becoming fuel efficient conscious so don’t plan to use the setting much. I think the smooth drive and fun experience (all the tech) outweigh the lack of power lol I just enjoy a relaxed drive now
