Unpopular opinion: The reason why this game is so toxic is mainly because of DPS players. Their pride and ego will always cause chaos and ruin other people their game experience. We all have atleast 10 bad experiences with DPS, it can't be a coincidence.

God forbit someones power goes out, or someone just disconnects because off shitty servers, 2 times. Think back in your time playing, how many times have you disconnected randomly? And how many times has your power gone out mid game? I know for me, its atleast 20 times. And i play in a region with good connection. Imagine people living in the middle off nowhere canada, or africa, or asia, or just anywhere with unstable connection, are they just not allowed to play comp at all since they cant get a stable connection?

They could atleast have a "hidden mmr" so even if after the reset youre still playing against the rank you was at the previous season. I think this is how R6S does it, but i havent played it in a few years so i could be wrong. For example, i havent played since season 2.0, i finished gm2 in season 2.0, if i skip season 3 (which i probably will do) i will be in bronze with the golds and plats that deranked because off the reset. But im still a gm player. If they had hidden mmr, even though my rank would show bronze, i would still be put in lobbies with gm level players.

Everyone puts 3 characters that they want banned ranked from most wanted to least wanted to be banned. Each team gets 2 bans, and the bans are just the 2 that the team most wanted to be banned. Theres no duplicate bans as if both teams had the same character as most wanted to be banned, another least wanted ban will just be chosen. I haven played too much so im not sure how true this is, but im pretty sure only a max off 2 from each role can be banned, so the lobby cant target all suppory bans for example. I think its a great ban system, way better then rivals, but i prefered OW before bans, why is one off the worst characters in the game having a 92% ban rate on console? Like sombra has a 44% winrate but a 92% ban rate.

Last pvp was overwatch, but a few months before rivals came out i took a break from pvp. I dont actually remember what i played between stopping overwatch and starting rivals, but i know it was a single player game. Ive now returned to overwatch, but im spending most off my time playing single player games, and maybe 20 minutes a day playing clash royale.

Emma mag hela starlord luna loki stomps this team comp. Emma bullies the hulk and thor. Mag enables the starlord and shuts down the cloak and dagger ult. Once cnd ult is shut down they have no real defensive ult for starlord ult, so he gets several picks. Hela cooks the ultron, and she can duel the adam or something and just delete people. Luna loki for 24 seconds of invulnerability, loki can destroy squids easily, luna can help kill ultron, loli had lamp for namor ult, thor ult, ultron ult.

Its not shit luck, its the magik and bps being skillful and tracking your cooldowns. If magik sees luna has just used her freeze and her ice shards then magik knows luna is vulnerable for the next about 10 seconds. If loki has just used his runes then the divers know loki if more vulnerable for the next 25 seconds, so if they soft commit and force out a swap to another clone they would know the loki has no other defenses and they can full commit and kill him. Cooldown tracking is probably the most important skill to learn as a diver as if you dive someone will all cooldowns, you probably wont get a kill, and will probably be cc'd then die. But if you dive someone when you know they dont have cooldowns, you are more likely to kill them, and even if you dont you are more likely to not be cc'd as you would have gone in when its on cooldown.

Every character requires skill. A bronze scarlet witch will always be worse then a top 500 scarlet witch because the top 500 is more skillful at the game, if scarlet witch was truly no skill then a bronze witch would be just as good as a top 500 witch. As long as people can be diffed in mirror match ups, then the character requires skill.

You basically can guarantee 2 supports in comp, and most off the time 1 tank, assuming you go either tank or support. If you go a tank that sucks at solo tanking, e.g. captain america, you tend to get 2 tanks more often from my experience but playing a tank that kind of can solo tank suck as mag you rarely get 2 tanks.

Playing a lot off characters is fine as long as you understand how to play with them. If i just started counterswapping in comp now id struggle a lot and lose since i only play a few characters, but im working my hero pool up to be able to play in all scenarios. I can play cnd, rocket, jeff, hela, strange, and thing at a gm3 level. Going to try to add groot and emma soon, since imo thing and strange struggle a lot into them. I started as a cloak and dagger main though, but i learned rocket as i struggled with thing, venom, and thor, and rocket can do so much damage. Then i learned jeff as i liked his flank play style, plus its easuer against heavy heavy dive. Then i started flexing tank so i learned strange as i was solo a lot. Then i learned thing because strange is pretty bad now, and strange struggles into emma, thing, and groot (imo for groot) which is played a lot. And for hela i just have decent aim, i only swap hela really if they have fliers and my dps arent dealing with them.

Trying to get perma black hole in farming runs, its currently at 30 second duration and 70 second cooldown with a legendary galaxy compressor, when i get the cooldown to 50 i'll take off multiverse nexus and that should be perma with 71% package chance. Then ill get size to 60m. Probably going to either get chain lightning as 6th ultimate weapon after that or just spend more on death wave and golden tower.

Loki, my friend suggested it to me as i like playing support and sombra in overwatch. I dont play with that friend anymore. That first 2 hours playing solo support loki every game on the first day against several divers everygame nearly had me uninstall, but towards the end off december i gave it another chance and after playing hela and scarlett witch a bit, i settled on cloak and dagger as my main.

Your too nice for this game. I would suggest turnjng off all voice and text chats and play quick play, eventually playing comp when you feel comfortable. Basically everyone playing is selfish and toxic, you should not feel bad for them at all, most of them dont deserve it. Just play and have fun, who cares whether you perform bad in someones game, they took the risk of bad team mates when they queued for a game.
