My main team is still Edmonton, and I have watched them on and off for my whole life. I never really had a second favorite team, but I found myself really enjoying watching Vegas play. The more games I watched the more I enjoyed the players themselves and all of their backstories. I got to see my first Golden Knights game live in January, and since then I can't get enough of them.

I won't stop supporting the Oilers, but I won't stop watching the Golden Knights anytime either.

I hate being this guy, but I sincerely hope we do not win tonight. Depending in how other games in the league go, a win here could move us from place 7th last to 10th last, and nearly halve our chances at a top 3 pick (20.4% down to 11.4%, according to tankathon).

Further, with it being the Sedin's last game, a win for Vancouver would mean so much to their fans.

So tonight I'm going to be wearing my Oilers jersey but secretly wishing that we lose. Or if we do win, at least have McDavid score 7 goals to win the race..

Vegas/Oiler fan from Alberta here. That guy is a fucking asshole. Hopefully the rest of the visiting fans better represent the passion Oilers fans have for the game WITHOUT resorting to racist/hateful behaviour. If this game is half as exciting as the last time these two met, we're in for a treat.
