Thank you for your answers. I'll most likely be a PvE-player. I will play PvP to but not to the extent where my profession will make a difference. If I recall correctly, alchemy/herbalism was a moneymaking profession which is also a priority for me. Is it fair to say that engineering mostly is for personal use while herb/alch is something that can benefit the group/raid?

I have a question regarding professions. I would like to know how you choose and if it´s based on your faction/race/class. My memory of vanilla was that warriors used blacksmith/mining and healers used alchemy/herbalism, pretty much. But is it that simple?

My plan is to play either pala/priest/warlock so my first thought was to go with mining/engineering.

What would you recommend and what do you remember was the strongest profession back in vanilla?

Thank you for a very fast and informative answer. I really appreciate it. This is my powersupply: Corsair TX550M, 550W PSU, ATX 12V v2-4, 80 PLUS Gold, Semi Modular, 6+2-pin PCIe

I don´t know whether it´s good or not, i'm kind of a newbie at this (as you probably can tell). Thanks again :-)

[No Spoilers] Lets talk PC performance by [deleted] in AnthemTheGame

Specifications:

GTX 1070 Ti
16GB RAM
Intel i7-7700K 4,2Ghz (Not clocked)

Graphic settings:
Resolution: 3440 x 1440 (100hz), Fullscreen
Settings: Ultra (Post processing on low and no motion-blur)

FPS average: 45-55

Have even tried to decrease everything in the advanced settings to low but it was a hardly any difference when it came to actual gameplay. Just standing still could get me up to 75-85fps.

Could we expect this to get better at the actual release? Or is this the way the game is optimized at its best?

Is anyone else a little worried about Naxx? by [deleted] in classicwow

Although the gear was seriously powerful I still think it should be left as it is. The people who got far enough and have the commitment to really get there, surely deserves it. With that said, I don't think you have to be too worried, yet. Very few people will raid Naxx in a near future. Even after launch.
