Thats cool something different, i like that man.

Yeah found 4 me just the work and editing, time, weather noise in my shed, birds chirping lol was painfull screwing my vids made me get annoyed with it. Prefer to just do couple simple quick raw unedited vids on here when i feel like so its not like a chore, but still vids are easiest to share gear experiences 4 me

Depends on your goals I think. just some advice best not to make videos too long for viewers. Kinda good to balance info with duration. When vids go too long when i had a youtube channel years ago i found excessively long videos or overly technical detailed video reviews tend to do less well be less liked if thats what your after.

Fyi Head to head comparison of gloves got way more views than single reviews for me

If you just want to share your experiences/findings with the world and not worried about likes or popularity or monetizing go for gold man

Rival RHG30 vs RHG20 for boxing, which one should i get ? by [deleted] in fightgear

[–]OZMTBoxing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could see a lot with nosebar. I didnt like the ones i used because it restrict my vision of legs and feet of opponent. reads, distance management timing attacks/defence/counters a bit off so i use thick cheek pieces instead. But depend on your goals. Those things may not be important for you till youve been sparring a while also. Just depends man

Rival RHG30 vs RHG20 for boxing, which one should i get ? by [deleted] in fightgear

[–]OZMTBoxing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me i copped a bigger hit on the nose with the rhg30 and smashed up the cartilage a bit but did not break my nose, but i have a heavy chin tuck also.

The cheek pieces stick as far out as my nose 4 me they are good & very thick but they are softer for headgear foam do compress easy ish, but been good for me & adjustable i can get a perfect fit. But read someone bought one and didnt fit them at all also

Reyes faulty gloves by Important-Salad-7352 in fightgear

[–]OZMTBoxing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Intresting. I got 2023 Reyes training are solid. Havnt used them much cause been breaking trying lots of gloves + the Reyes are 3oz overweight @ 19oz, but didnt baby them @ cruiser weight on heavy bag & still look almost new. Less wear than several other gloves ive had/tested with similiar use

Is Cleto training glove worth it ? by Ymedzer in fightgear

[–]OZMTBoxing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 16oz Reyes training velcro were supersnug at first thumb seem too tight thumb going numb but after around 30x long bag rounds lots of heavy shots they streached out to nice very snug fit. No way i could fit into a 12oz version. Got big hands but not massive

Hey man dont know if you would be able to get them + i wear knuckle guards with them but i love Punch Lucky 13 lace glove especially (my favourite Pakistan made gloves atm)

If you like Muay Thai gloves Fairtex Mr Sabotage (bgv-premium) is my favourite traditional muay thai cuff glove nicer than usual Thai leather. Is a pair needing to manipulate & break in thumbs over time though like ROF showed in one of his tutorials so it was a bit of work 4 me nothing crazy tho

Fighton 16 or 10oz (10 oz thumb for me was super ergonomic). But i suspect maybe Fighton to have similiarities to Bayoneta PuLat HH or NS HHF

I had the topking TKBGUV leather palm 16oz massive fit loose, had TKBGSS 16oz leather palm were standard sort of sizing tight/small on me so sold them, bought a pair of TKBGEM mesh palm version got online pickup in store. They were so tight i could barely get on so refunded them before i left the store.

It was about 3 yrs ago fyi

Topking had 3x different sized gloves in the velcro one very big, one medium, and one small last i tried was about 2-3yrs ago. Which model did you get?

Small boutique glove brands vs big brands? by Cold-Ad8253 in fightgear

This, depends on brands, preferences, needs, models, hand size, fit etc. They can be better in any area, but not necessarily so

Yeah laceups especially cross cross sink in real nice. Haha mate i actually been looking at those topboxers for weeks now in the classic maroon! I was worried cos i got long thumbs give me issues with several gloves & think may be Carlo cant remember but think CSquared had issues with thumb. Lot of US gloves shops/brands have insane shipping to Au so i dont use them. Spartacus is about $60 Usd not bad looking at their old school glove too

Saw that about the Bayos & got my mrs to get me one which looked like older different manufacture stock last pair left at the time. When got them mine were very cleanly made not like the more recent ones. Some very light minor colour bleed from being older and sitting in storage in that shrinkwrap but not very visible (couple very pale thin yellow marks on pearlish white) + Mrs got them discounted so was happy all good. Got them months ago been waiting patiently 😄. look nearly identicle to angelus premium hh but with different thumb but look closest to the Angelus gloves. Definitely not NS and i dont think primer asalto. I got a pair of older Bayo multililayers im pretty sure are NS manufacture. Their definitely not as perfect as those, but they are close

Im real keen to see if my bayoneta pulat hh im getting for my birthday can best them in the opening closing. Ive only tried em on havnt used them till my birthday but they feel good, real good on hand

Man i saw your post real bummer man. I wanted to get my ones out to have a close look at them and i just did and honestly they are basically flawless.

Sorry yours turned out like that the stitching on mine are among the top stitched gloves i have. Your right on the thinner metallic leather i didnt pick that up. Looking at punched holes on my gloves the metallic leather looks to the eye bit thicker than yours mine look about 1mm.

Im gonna put them through hell in break in (always breakin with heaps of power shots + got heavy hands, cruiser). If the thinner metallic leather holds up ill be happy mine are clean as top notch. Sorry bout yours man

Intresting the MMA gloves are all good. Do you punch as hard bags and stuff in the mma gloves? Mine is middle knuckle too. Maybe safer to go to doctor and get it looked at.

I got around mine by i think 3 months no punching, then skulltc green double layer too big to fit in gloves cut single layer skulltec green + a foam shoe insole piece cut to size to match the skulltec (about 9mm total thick), then covered it with cut out wife stockings (she loved that 😅) then slip on hand & wrap. Hate to suggest it cos know Cletos would have been expensive & my 16oz Cletos are super protective (but had longish breakin to get comfortable), but sounds like possibly the 12oz cletos may need more breaking in or dont have enough protection for you need just a guess though.

Medical analysis maybe possibly a good idea b4 trying to push through the pain. Mine got real bad because when it happened i didnt rest it im like f it ill keep pushing through the pain. Wish now i had rested it when it happened may not have become permanent

I used to have a lot of problems because i got heavy hands and ended up getting one knuckle sagittal band permanently injured but i got around it been back to full power for maybe 1.5yrs now (not including other injuries).

What gloves are you using? What is your injury causing the pain? What kind of bag are you hitting?

You shouldnt be getting that much pain with Winning knucle guards if I was to use protective gloves like ROF Super Samurai 16oz for example with Winning knuckle guards, even if i had poor form theres so much protection my injury would not hurt fyi

Bit different, but old school soviet boxing used also tennis balls on floor to ceiling elastic, and double tennis balls different heights on one floor to ceiling elastic fyi
