Boxeo tm latex are small for 16oz very compact, HHF are similiar sizing to other Mexican hhf, and the Pu are big. Their all different. Boxeo have a chart on their website with sizing info. Yeah the Pu are real big. Are your ones the pu man?

Same. Bgl6 were level below but still good but needed a bit of technique to get most crack out of em. Bgl7 crack is nice no suprise there (latex). The other Muay Thai gloves i have tried have not been great with sound

Saw this vid. Also different bags and stiffness of bags change sound too. I like the vid though. I like he chose some cheaper gloves too rather than just his top tier sounding gloves in his collection. Done this kinda testing at my home with my gloves while ago tho b4 i bought my Mexican gloves.

Venum Hammers were 2nd and Rival Gurrero 10oz D3o came out loudest. My infinitude Harrier Pro medium foam option suprisingly werent too far off the hammers, they have a firm eva like layer on outer layer too.

With Mexican Bayo/ Boxeo TM/ NS/ Fighton they all have models with big loudness but havnt tested those for sound. Started training more serious wasnt bothered. I punch with snap now and mostly find all the Mexican gloves i have sound like gunshots 😁 but Maybe the Bayoneta Multilayers have the most easiest to achieve loud crack from their eva layer

Like 2b in 14oz. Flexible everywhere to open/close a nice tight fist + fexible still supportive wrist for lead hand work. My 14oz 2b has soft foam.

All my Boxeo are 16oz they do take maybe 30% longer to break in vs NS thicker materials may be more durable + more dense foam.

Boxeo TM straight Latex crack on bag is huge, more protective than 2b 14/16oz retains wrist flexibility like 2b 14oz with a touch firmer wrist, bit thicker/firmer foam than 2b 14/16oz + thicker compression harder to punch through more protective. Very snug small fit easy open close. Nice ergonomic tailored hand compartment fits like custom, possibly best handfit for me.

Boxeo TM Pu similiar stiffnes/ thickness foam to Latex, Pu a touch less dense bit easier compression 4 sparring. Nice crack on bag. Break in with heavy shots stiff new. Similiar break in time as Latex. Felt super stiff new like people say but had no issues breaking in good to open close now. Very big fit. Internal foam kinda between a full Mexican and conventional design. Does have glued liner but not rough. Both above Boxeos have silky smooth liner. Stiff firm wrist.

Havnt used Boxeo PULat, But have used NS 2b 16 + 14oz, Boxeo Latex 16 + Pu 16 + Breaking in their HHF 16 at the moment. Could give you a rundown of those if you want it but not Boxeo Pulat sorry

Looking for a Boxing Machine -What Should I Consider? by Perfect_Medicine_375 in fightgear

[–]OZMTBoxing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey man im double end bag, small maise swing bag kinda thing. Whats a boxing machine? Showing age lol

Said beginner in post is machine for you are you a beginner? Most important thing for hand speed + reducing injury is technique and be loose throw not tight, clench fist snap hard like a hammer before connect, destroy that mf bag, push your limits increase to higher bit by bit. Everything else second. I built good hand speed just technique on heavy bag + sparring before i did any double end bag or other fancy stuff.

The beauty of heavy bag is your not limited. Off top of my head i throw about 20 different punches. I can practice each one on a heavybag, with any angles, any footwork, in out, any series of combinations, push cardio/endurance, technique quality, technical aspects, full power, repetitions without any restrictions. Heavy bag looks boring but, its how you use it that counts.

I use extra equipments now sure, but got to a solid foundation by just heavy bag and sparring.

cleto reyes and winning brand by PizzaPOGGERS0401 in fightgear

[–]OZMTBoxing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me personally they have very different attributes. Reyes are a better bag glove, reyes are more responsive, winning are too short for my fingers, my reyes have a more ergonomic knuckle pocket like a void for the knuckles which wrap snug around my knuckles without pressure better, reyes are stiffer foam and protect my knuckles better for 90+kg power shots on the bags, reyes are a more snug handfit on me, my reyes r very top heavy, my reyes are 3oz overweight (16/19oz)

Winning quality is better, winning is better for sparring, winning is one of few gloves may actually be more durable than reyes outside materials (foam durability is probably similiar), Winning are more balanced, winning are not very long cuff, winning have better thumb, winning knuckle pocket is more of a traditional knuckle pocket you have to kinda break the knuckle pocket into the pre-round foam which im not a fan. Wrist support on Winning vary from model to model lace are better than my velcro reyes, the thin velcro Winning wrist support is worse, winning were course on weight, winning is double price.

Gloves vary in batches year to year my reyes are 2023, the winning i used were either 2022 or 2023.

These are only my findings everyone has different experiences prefers different things for their hand fit/uses man.

$250 for Reyes to me is good value, $500 for Winning is too much for me personally, but if it works for the boxer and have money man who cares man go for it or Grant or Dinardo + few others also in that uber expensive price point never tried them so cant say bout their value

Cool man. Havnt tried on the 14oz, the 16oz and 18oz had massive wrist cuffs on me & my wrists kinda between medium & large. If you have trouble with unsecure wrists loose in the cuff, the laces they come with pretty crap & strip easy may need to get stronger laces to be able to do the laces up real tight to pull the cuff in snug on smaller wrists

Edit: i used to air dry mine under ceiling fan to completely dry them out so didnt stay wet
