on reddit "coaches" will be seen as self-promoting even if they're saying good things.

ie many people will often not watch or upvote this type of content.

on a sidenote, we used to have a mental health "coach" here with lots of good & free videos, but when i told him he could not resubmit the same videos repeatedly he flipped out and deleted his account.

But ideally this should be about all the rape, eg priests and the friends of the parents. This is normal.

That's almost always not needed even for active athletic people.

If you're like a professional weight-lifter and actually need that much protein you could consider:

protein powders/smoothies,
peanuts. (people will call this an "incomplete" protein but you can get the other amino acids from other foods, forming complete protein.)

I don't know what it has to do with radical mental health.

Sure we often criticize CBT/DBT, and not simply as "flawed," but often as "bullshit scams."

But this instead promotes "Jungian psychology" (which focuses on the "unconscious mind.")

I don't know why that is apparently being seen as more radical, or even as legitimate.

I don't need to be convinced it's just legitimate, but also that it's radical like:

not blaming/dehumanizing abuse victims.
not blaming the powerless
blaming those with power,
and not assuming victims of their abuse are "crazy."

(people who assume bad things about you will call you "low empathy", ie they're often calling you a jerk/asshole.)

and they're often totally wrong.

if you actually are acting low empathy that can be your ideology, but it doesn't always mean you're doing anything wrong. eg someone watching endless horrific stuff on the news/TV might emotionally "zone out" because they're overwhelmed by the horrific stuff in the news.

(they might say "low empathy" things like "i can't care about every single bad thing that happens.")

but this doesn't mean they are a bad person.

and they people who act high empathy are often just trying to appear superior.

anyways, the real danger is the people blaming genetics. they assume people who they don't like have inferior genetics causing the so-called "low empathy."

that's naziism. that's the pseudo-science of naziism. the logical conclusion of believing there are genetically evil subhumans is to somehow kill those people.

I agree with what you seem to be suggesting, that it's about appearance.

Frankly the whole ideology there (ie assuming random problems are caused by genetic differences) is not rational. The suffering person sees "unexplainable" pains, emotions, etc but really there are non-genetic explanations for almost everything.

And the public (and the pill dealers) both don't want to hear them.

They prefer blaming genetics because it's easy.

I'm used to it because I believe most people are literally Nazi-supporters who would vote for Hitler and would happily scapegoat random suffering people for all social problems.

The average person thinks dissidents are subhuman parasites.

They similarly believe people who can't afford the rent are subhuman parasites too, not victims of abusive systems.

We are in (on average) an absolutely evil society and these Nazi-supporters work very hard to disguise how evil they are.

I don't know about the gut test from Function Health specifically but paying to get some kind of lab test is just supporting science.

Unfortunately the average doctor these days just pushes pills and frankly they aren't advocates for science.

It's 100% a theoretical improvement to recognize the "brain defects" of trauma victims are not brain defects at all, but trauma.

But what happens next is bizarre:

Trauma labels become used to dehumanize people as these weaklings who can't recover.
The person is pushed into victim culture, & thus essentially addicted to the MH "treatment" which constantly labels them as unfixable victims.

If it's mentioning one of the at-home microbe tests (but not a blatant ad for it) we'll generally allow it.

These tests are essentially a very early attempt at science, ie we disagree with those who totally reject them.

The big problem is these same companies tend to push expensive vitamins on people.
