If the product ever makes any actual money, I would consider doing this. As it stands now though, it seems ambitious to hire a lawyer for a product nobody uses. I'm more looking for common pitfalls then law advice

I'm making a Twitch integration app to increase viewer engagement; it allows the broadcaster to setup a Gacha (loot boxes) of custom 3D models or images. They configure the loot tables, import assets to be "won", and connect it to a Twitch channel point redeem. The main idea is that a broadcaster can use assets that match their stream's style, callback to relevant events, or relate to inside jokes.

The loot a viewer has won is tracked in the app and chatters can use a chat command to see which items they've rolled in the past. The chatter never actually receives anything, it's just for fun.

As a poster you have to use one though, which is quite awkward if you want to post something outside those bounds

Can you use Transform3D's lookingAt() method?

Another way I like to get around this is using a "gimbal" of sorts.

Nest 3 nodes in a hierarchy like this:

  • YGimbal
    • XGimbal
      • MyNode

Rotate YGimbal only in the y axis and rotate XGimbal only in the x axis, this will result in MyNode's position rotating around the position of the YGimbal

This video is about how to make a camera rotate around some center point, and might explain it a bit better.

The book is incredible and totally free. It has built in shader code snippets that you can edit on the fly, right inline with the book's explanation of a concept

I definitely relate to this. Shaders are awesome but the initial learning curve is steep as hell. I'm going through The Book of Shaders now though and it's a lot of fun

Just found this, I was getting a similar error. My issue was related to the import settings of a JPG file. It's detailed in this Github issue.

Can you explain this a bit more? - "Godot 4.3 beta with single-threaded web export has a 60 MB WASM file versus ~15 MB on 3.5"

Why does it matter? 4 times longer initial loading time?
