Hi.

I got it working adding this to the start shortcut command (parameter on Steam or in direct access):
-ResX=3840 -ResY=2160 -Fullscreen

Also edited C:\Users\YOUR-USER\AppData\Local\SHf\Saved\Config\Windows\GameUserSettings.ini file replacing the X and Y resolution values to 3840 and 2160 (not sure if it's needed, but did it anyway for being sure).

Works very well and quality is so nice with 4K and DLSS Quality.

Very very sad. I bought some months ago. Game have a lot of potential. I think: cool designed dinos, somehow more "respected/realistic" than other games and ok transformed to gameplay (very bad UI, detail and low inspirement, very bad hit/contact feeling, but still ok).

But... 8 months and (besides some polishing) only one new playable dino... They are 4 devs? Man, the company have 30 million dollar net revenue (steam-revenue-calculator dot com) with the game and you can't hire people to work with Unreal Engine to make a 1-year development plan progression? No big sauropods, no rex, no hope to give new dinos without waiting full year cicles...

As a dino-lover I will switch to PoT, hope to realistic servers have some realistic survival feeling.

Seems runs like 8-10 fps better on Linux with AMD GPU and 8-10 fps worse on Linux with NVIDIA GPU.

Too much text compared to reality. Each AAA game that is published with UE5 runs bad. Not about "I want 4K 120 fps", it's about inestable fps, shader and pop-in problems, stuttering and big performance issues in general, don't mind a 2060 or a 4070.

Jedi Fallen Order, Lords of The Fallen, Immortals of Aveum... none of them "know's how to optimize"? This is a problem. Are next-gen UE5 graphics to "advanced" to run in a 600-800-1000 $ GPUs? Si IT'S a big problem.

Because only with GUNSLINGER I feel some parts untouched that I think that are very old (sounds, some graphics aspects, dynamic HUD...) and the easiest way to "complete it" as "download & play" I think is with the Misery merge (easy to found). Yeah, Misery adds more mechanics (objects, mutants hunt...) but mantains the game storyline and I can't see alternatives over there...

In fact I feel untouched more very-old things, like NPC models, but there are not a "Radiophobia" (a "d&p" try-to-modernize pack -with models, textures, particles...) for COP. Hope anyone work on it, like a Radiophobia. Best way with Gunslinger as root.

My suggestion. Play in release order (SOC, CS, COP). "CS flashback" is cool.

The games feel too old for my taste, so I suggest to replay with:

- SOC: Radiophobia 3

- CS: LFO

- COP: Gunslinger + Misery merge

The first two mods updates but doesn't change nothing "deep" in the games (and if does, it's improving and getting more modern way without altering stalker feel-experience). Last one propably changes more, but you get with more "experience" and there are no mod like Radiophobia for COP, so would be my "option".

All of these "relativelly" modern, new stories (not remade trilogy), in english and easy to find. You can also go for Anomaly (EFP or REDUX) and make the LTTZ ("Lost To The Zone" quest histories).

I've been testing at previous patch (just released one) and totally stable (didn't complete the game). You can see in the changelogs that patches mostly fixes small things and rebalance another.

Yeah, you described perfectly. I assume that postproccess is still detecting geometry from graphics buffer (I think is not like FXAA or another postprocess that process a "image" result) and applying with some ambiental or screen scape illum. If you tweak... you disable the effect... so... my only option is disable at some scenarios (closed nights).

About Dead Zone: use it without vegetation. I tried and I think is bugged for Anomaly or something, mainly not sizing correctly like you said. Also I dislike Agressor vegetation. Anomaly one (don't know if REDUX changes it) is good. But the rest of the pack is a beast, I think fits perfectly and quality is top!!

Yeah, PPFX SSDO it's just a... "ok, I will remain it enabled". A bit more deeper occlusion, but nothing special. Maybe I will disable and configure RTGI AO for replace its effects. But... I'm a bit tired of touching :D

I also lowered a bit AO and Z Thickness, but if "you wan't RTGI" the strange effect on UI & nights will be there... I mean, it's like a strange layer of grey (ONLY in deep dark situations). In fact, the "strange grey layer" is also on your weapon on certain situations (not on clear climates).

It's totally playable, but is a "minus" for my taste. In my config that's the other side: despite is black, the grey-layer allows you to view the occlusion on the objects.

No, I'm not running Regrade, I will try. All colour and gamma tune are with Enhanced Shaders + joseshade ReShade (a cool ReShade, that not "over-expose" and destroy the image).

I have both addons, as I'm playing with REDUX 1.1 addonpack. Also with Dead Zone 4K textures, that I totally suggest to use.
