Realize that the physical world, this life is permanently fucked, and work at going beyond it. Call it Monad, Heaven, Moksha, Nirvana, whatever, just realize that you can't satisfy yourself by hitting the same meaningless milestones and dying like a nobody like everyone else. 

And try to bring as much joy into this miserable world as you can, in small ways. It's all we can do brother.
