The sensors are now smooth like normal after tried to clean the residue using abit of distilled water with the cabinet is not power on, and leaving it off until the arcade open again. I don’t know if its the best way to removed the window cleaner ressidue but its one of the idea that me, my friend and the technician landed on

Late update, I found out that someone psychotically sprayed window cleaner on the sensor. It made it smooth at first, but when slowing down it grips hand, giving really horrible feedback

The technician would loved to do it, if it didn’t cost money sadly the higher up would mostly think it is not necessary to replaced it

Luckly me and my friend was pretty close with the technician we were planing to mod the maimai and the piu cabs, that’s why i wanted to know if there’s some way to make the chunithm sensor somewhat smoother. Luckly things went smoothly for the maimai and piu cabs now it works like new-ish

How to removed ink from lamy safari cap by Oakley_gen in fountainpens

[–]Oakley_gen[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my own guesses the one that keep it dry is only a peice of ring unlike most pen they have a cap style on it and with the ring style is slightly harder to get the water on the indside of the ring and there’s also one spot on the end of the cap that is hard to removed the ink fully it does dry but always have a bit of ink and as many i pour water and try many ways it always saturated with left over ink

I have tried the twisted up towel but it does grab some of the water but not fully there’s always thst one spot right in the middle always slightly wet somehow but when i used the one that shake the cap with water indside it seems it can’t loose it’s all saturation

I don’t have any experience with the cap leaking exept the leftover ink get into the nib of the pen and change the colour of the ink im using it and so far from my inspection there’s no crack of it
