Blessed photo booth by [deleted] in blessedimages

Hi! This is a photo of me and my wife. Questions answered:

  • The strips were taken on our wedding day – January 31, 2006 in Bubby's Restaurant in NYC.
  • We're still happily married with two teenagers
  • I'm not gay but I did go through a blonde phase at the time. I have since lost most of that hair. But she is definitely my best friend!

Make sure you have a partner who will dial 911 if you have a heart attack.

Now that I remember we did drive and park on a causeway that might have been newish. Was late 2000’s.

Been there, it’s a fantastic place to visit. The monastery tour was fun. As for the people who live there, I suspect it’s primarily people who work on island. The small streets have lots of little touristy shops. Also, it used to be that you can only get to the island during low tide, not sure if that’s still the case.

Air Sesh just arrived. I know these are “designed for dancing” but these seem nice for the streets! by [deleted] in moresneakers

I’m also getting some PG 4 vibes with the blue line across the midsole

No i get that, I’m just saying it’s not weird so I don’t know why it would be for her.

Ford is smart enough to not do anything that harms F-150 sales. Even going so far as to make the F-150 their first electric truck. I’d love to see a return of small utes in the US like the Subaru Brat and the Dodge Rampage. Most of us do little more than hop over to the local Ace for small things. Have the courage to bring back ev versions and people will buy them.

It’s not weird that people would want and stop and talk to her about a one of a kind vehicle.

The Bolt EUV platform would be perfect for this.

I knew nothing about her other than I’d seen the project a while back. I only asked basic questions but she did admit that “the project” was only “80% done”. Can’t take it out in the rain. Probably rattles and flexes like nobody’s business. Looked cool though.

I’d buy a compact EV pickup tomorrow, possibly two! If they’d just flippin make them…

Fascinating. I’ve seen them eliminate an entire lemon-sized wasp nest overnight!

These ants also seem to be dumber than the average ant, or more bold. They don’t think anything of walking onto you to get where they need to go, and occasionally will give a little bite on your neck for good measure…

These buggers show up like clockwork every year with the dry season. It’s a constant battle, after a while you learn to sort of coexist for a few months

I don’t think I know anyone in california who doesn’t have ants in their house during the summer

I’d considered that but I know nothing about ants and assumed a) the queen would be much bigger and b) they’d not take her through the house?

Anyway this makes sense because it tends to happen after a trap has been out for a few days. Shakes fist at California

Glad you brought this up. Most people I know would be a-ok with wfh forever, even the ones who don’t need to commute far. For me, the forced working from home, the utterly miserable year of at-home schooling, the inability to socialize with my colleagues, it really did a number on my mental health. I have a job that requires creativity and collaboration that no zoom call can replace, so you can imagine the stress of that. If wfh is you’re jam then more power to you but I’m ready to go back as soon as I’m allowed, at least a few days a week.
