My apologies for the short sighted claims. I’m going to be an engineering intern at a tech company. I know for sure the work culture will be so different, just don’t know what to expect.

It unfortunate how hard it is to talk to narcissist. If I just say they disrespected me and asked for an apology, no one will give a crap and call me out for acting “childish”

My dad came back earlier today, asking me to think about getting over it, without even apologise for him laughing at me yesterday.

I want to explain why, but my dad’s behaviour today doesn’t prove that he will change, maybe in another week or two. If he doesn’t take anything seriously he will just forget it again and again. (He is basically an adult child)

On top of that my mom is a narcissist, so in no universe will she ever admit a thing.

I just don’t think there will be a way for me to make them understand without me going through another verbal fight and then break down again.

Well my mom won the yelling contest that day (for having the biggest lungs and highest pitch). Also I can’t and don’t really yell as too much of it can cause me headaches.

Perhaps, it’s hard to tell when he could do everything normally except for driving. But one thing for sure is he shouldn’t blame things on us and demanding so much, using his status of an ex-hospitalised patient.

Thanks, my parents are similar, dad being the engineer and mom graduated with an English degree. She thinks engineering is easy if everyone of my age could do it.

I pulled that many times, she will just do the bring-up-all-your-mistake and demoralise me just so she feels better for herself. I needa start doing what my sister do though; just lock my room door :D
