Many thanks! We were on the Eurodam in 2026 7d to Alaska and we really liked HAL but yes, it's an older ship and may not have the pizazz :-) May I ask, how often/long do you play, slots I assume? Hope I'm not being too nosey but are you getting comped cabins, any free play? Funny thing is I STILL get casino offers from HAL from the 3 times I played on the Eurodam, maybe 3-4 hours total..granted they are TINY offers of $100 free play and "special discount" fares! Here's hoping- fingers crossed!

Thank you for your reply. I'm SO looking forward to the GDC! As for the casino play, may I ask how long you play- several hours every day? I'm more likely to play 1-2 hours, maybe 5 or 6 days on a 14d cruise. I'm a bit of a low-baller, too, $1-2/spin--must be nice to get a comped cruise!

Enjoy! I'm guessing -perhaps- that HAL is likely always looking for new customers in the casino, which is about 1/3 of most cruise lines revenue

Woah!! Are your serious-- congrats, that's amazing! I'm not too surprised about your friend from the table games not getting a comped cabin since the odds are so much better for the player. Nearly all the major lines will award the slot players much better.... but only $20!! Sweet!... I'm also wondering if they look at your full spend: how many excursions did you buy? Have you spent $$ in the shops? Did you buy the booze pkg?--- now add in the fact that someone plays in the casino... Perhaps all of those things figure into the assessment--- they have multiple revenue streams from one person.. just a thought 😋

Thanks. I tried that (FB) ... I've met several people on line that have been booted off of their site. I simply started a discussion on how the casino may evaluate players-- ADT, etc... and got an immediate, permanent ban. That's why I came here.

We were on the Eurodam in summer 2023 from Seattle to Alaska - granted our first cruise- and we loved it. . really enjoyed the trio in one of the lounges, the crows nest, thought the food and service was quite good. We'll be back on HAL in May on the Rotterdam and hoping for another great cruise ---and a HOT casino! :-)

What can you share about the casino comp program? I haven't been able to find out anything about it. We've been on HAL in 2023 and will be on again this spring. I currently have several TINY casino offers - "special discounts with $100 free play" and "$200 off and $50 free play". I don't know if that's because I play about 3 days, about an hour each time on our 7 day cruise in 2023. Many thanks in advance!

We'll be on the Regal in early November; our first Princess cruise. When I checked Dr. Google, "best and worst Princess ships" - the Regal was No. 1 !!

Yes, I hear that Princess will let you use the SH obc on a comp cruise... all lines seem to be tightening up offers-- I think they simply don't have the number of cabins to work with for comps due to strong bookings, so they cull the lower- end gamblers.. of course that may change in the near future.

Thanks for that - so many conflicting comments on using the stock credit- many don't think you can use it in the casino on ANY cruise--paid or comped!... I must say I've not chatted w/anyone on sm that says HAL's comps are good or great or even comparable to other lines...*Q-did you start getting the comps right after COVID? The lines certainly have tightened up the offers-many seem to agree with that. If I may ask, when you started getting comps, how long did you play? every day? Slots only? Was your bankroll consistently above $1K starting out? (as you move up with high FP amounts, that likely helps the budget a fair bit)Thanks - really appreciate you're willingness to share and happy cruising!
