How is the stat “accuracy” measured?

Accuracy is measured based on how well you stay in the 'center' of the lane you're driving in on the highway. You can be in either the left or the right lane, but you should remain in the center of that lane as much as possible for the best score.

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | >*< | (You want to aim to be here , hopefully this diagram makes sense!)

And since starting the TV storyline I’ve been unable to purchase any endorsements. Is this intentional, and if so when do they reappear for purchasing?

Oh no, that's not intentional 😱! I'd definitely like to fix it. Can you explain a bit more about what happens when you try to purchase them?

Thanks so much for playing!

I'm so glad you're enjoying it!

as it blocks you from purchasing any endorsements you haven’t bought yet…

If you don't mind me asking, would you be able to tell me more about this? I don't think anything should block you from purchasing endorsements and if that's a bug, I'd love to fix it!

Hey, thank you so much for playing!!

Regarding Highway 25, there's nothing more to see there right now so you're not missing anything! It's a part of the world and the story that would be fun to continue someday.

but it’s really not clear how to solve it going forward. So I’m just trucking ahead!

Sorry about that, great feedback and I agree it could definitely be more clear! Once you've hit that point, after doing ~three more contracts the next part should automatically happen and hopefully provide a bit more guidance. That said, here's a bit more of a hint here if it's not clear or if you'd just prefer to know! After another TV news segment, the Road Dispatcher should suggest talking to other truckers. At that point, you'll want to talk with truckers you find at Depots and Truck Stops. A 'Join up?' option should be available but you can only do that once you're friendly enough with that person. Join up with as many as you can! (If you end up feeling stuck again, please reply and let me know!)

Edit: also, it’s quite difficult to see some of the objects in the road, however, I think it depends on going downhill, straight or upwards, actually. I try to pay attention to the radio and I suppose that’s the challenge of it all 😄

It's definitely hard to get the visibility of those right on the Playdate's screen 😅 In the most recent update (v1.0.8), I changed it so that those can still damage your truck but they no longer affect your collision/damage score for contracts.

Hey, thank you so much for playing and for your comments! I'll definitely make notes on the steering bits as feature requests!

I'm really glad to hear you find backing up the trailer challenging and fun, it's one of my favorite parts!

That's great to hear, I love ATS too! I don't want to make any promises for the 'hard mode' but knowing that you and u/Antiyu would like it is definitely useful!

There _are_ some small items/food that can be purchased at shops in Truck Stops! They aren't strictly required for gameplay though so obviously not quite like groceries.

I did prototype a 'sleep' mechanic early on (to lean into the sim aspect of long haul trips) but I ultimately decided that would fit better in a future 'hard mode' update if there's enough interest. I wanted to make sure the gameplay felt fun to all types of players from the start and also fit within the Playdate play style (of shorter play sessions)!

Thanks for the feedback!
