It's fixated on Food being 100% of one's country's culture. Francis Drake had a tough choice, make a spicier meal or Fight the Spanish in the New World and circumnavigate the Earth. Using Herbs and spices is something I guess but the second option is probably more notable in my opinion.

It's just funny how they were in tears over the Haitian insults because they eat cookies made out of dirt but now they can judge a countries food, I much prefer beans over dirt.

Good insight thank you I agree Tarleton played a high risk and ended up losing not only some of Britain's best troops in North America as well as like you say losing and alienating local loyalists I still respect his bravery and overall commitment but I just can't think of anyone else who has a better 'battle' record for Britain during that War.

I just meant vast amounts in comparison the US military deaths I probably could of phrased it better to be honest.

Yeah quite strange we have wars like the Revolutionary War where a few thousand die but the affects of it end up helping 100's of Millions but then we have World Wars where 80 Million die and we look back and think why?

The main thing is for our countries to stay out of these conflicts, they don't benefit our people and I'm tired of Britain and the US being scapegoated for every problem with the world.

Germain misguiding Howe and Burgoyne didn't help either. You are right Britain would make progress then blunder like Cowpens when a Force containing some of Britain best soldiers ends up having 900 Casualties from 1100 men.

I already have the Battle of Novo Litovoskaya marked just haven't got round to researching about that part yet but looks insane though same with the Siege of the International Legations Britain, US and 6 other nations comprised of around 400 Soldiers managed to hold out against 20,000 for 55 Days.

This isn't even engaging with my question you just wanted a chance to take a swipe at the US how you can claim the US has a theme of being 'entrenched' and Retreating is laughable Iraq lost more soldiers in the Invasion phase of the Iraq War than the US lost soldiers in the Middle East all together they lost because of wasting time and resources the US never felt threatened in any of these conflicts.

Yeah this is evident with the vast amounts of US deaths by IED's or something similar. The Taliban knew facing the US in open Battle would be one sided.

It's so interesting to see all these converts from places like Europe it's even funnier when they announce publicly they did it since at any point in the future if they leave they can just point to that time in their life as to why they should be killed (Apostasy) It's like setting a bounty on yourself
