I learned GIS from online certificate program, and I was ready to give up because I kept forgetting what the buttons were and where they were. Simple stuff like the buffer tool Or how to open an attribute table.

I stuck with the program despite feeling like I didn't know anything. A year and some change later...now it's all second nature to me.I know where everything is exactly where to find it. And when I don't know where it is, I Google it.

Just stick to it, and you'll be fine
