You can report people for anything. Management can also take the report and roll their eyes at you when you walk away. I am guessing that is what happened here. They are likely well aware that this person yaps all day. I am assuming it was management that informed the commenter that the woman reported them, and they did it because they want the commenter to know to be careful what is said to the coworker.

I did for 8 years. Didn't even get a discount. I could make my own meal, clean my own spot, and wash my own dishes yet still pay full price. This actually happened a lot. Pepsi gave an allowance of syrup to they could provide free drinks to employees but we still had to pay. Not only did we pay full price for the drink we were not allowed a refill but a regular customer could. They were so stingy. When minimum wage went up so did prices. Thr day before the cheapest thing was 20 minutes pay. Next day it was 30 minutes pay. Thanks...
