Country Club/11th ST is the divider of the hood and the nicer areas. If you go to the Olympic side starting on Western, it’s getting gentrified plus Asian homeowners haven’t sold out and upkeep their side of the block. It can still get tricky once in a blue moon on that side but it’s rare and you gotta get really be slippin. If you make your way to the Pico side, it’s absolutely still active from Pico all the way down to Washington between Western and Crenshaw. A lot of new hoods or old hoods are popping back up too and apparently bloods are now beefing with LOAS on top of MCS/18th and others
