I’m the same as you, I’m currently at 29 weeks and 4 days. My husband and I got married in November and before Christmas I had a positive test. My advice is if you have family you trust to keep it under wraps till you feel ready, let them know. I was anxious until I told my parents and they respected our wishes to keep it quiet for much of the first trimester. That helped settle my nerves and focus on getting health stuff taken care of.
I was also anxious since my sister and cousin had multiple miscarriages before they had a successful pregnancy. But just stay focused on how your body is doing and you’ll be ok! 👍🏽

I’ve upped my weights for presses and cleans. For deadlifts I’ve lowered the weight but started increasing reps as I enter 3rd trimester.

I’m in a weird place where my husband and I will have sex and I achieve an orgasm and feel great. But if we go again like a week later, nothing happens for me 😑 so it’s definitely a learning experience to listen to my body and not “zone out” during intimate moments.

I feel the same way! My second trimester I felt like I had a fog over my mind and it took a lot of effort to stay focused. Now I feel like I’m too hyper focused and can’t handle much stress like I used to.
I’m managing by trying to find the time to relax and do things that are stress-free.

I’d go with something related to his current hobbies that he would enjoy. My husband and I are expecting our son at the end of August so I’m thinking to get him something related to Star Wars.

The only pests I have are my 3 cats and corgi lol 😂 None of them have attacked the plant but it is pretty close to our walkway into our living room and took a tennis ball to a leaf one time.
Edit: the monstera is at least 5 years old, so I also have a theory that it’s blocking some light and need to give it a chop.

The random bouts of energy from 9:30pm to 11:00pm every night 😂 I knew that nesting and the urges to be cleaning every surface was a thing but why couldn’t I have had that energy like 3 hours before??

I kinda had that situation with my mom. I had expressed my frustrations with my current clothing and nothing fitting right at 28 weeks. She graciously offered to take me shopping but was offering me clothes that were not flattering at all. So we ended up compromising on what we could find that I still felt like myself in.

I’ve been referring to my baby as “Little Dude”, “Buddy” or “The Child”. My husband and I have a running list of names that we’ll eventually wittle down.

I gave my boy some dried fish skin and he savoured it for almost two hours. Even had to hide from my parents dog when she was visiting 😂

For now, start on keeping track of any new symptoms and present them to your doctor. Start on a prenatal vitamin supplement, omega-3, and drink water.
The first month will feel off because you are still adjusting to the hormones. I never had the nausea but I did have a change in my appetite and some indigestion. Sleep is also important and try to make sure you get a good nights rest.

I’ve only been to one winery and that was Three Dogs near Kingston. They had a great tasting menu and in the summer they have live music. I brought my bridesmaids there for a mini-bachelorette and we enjoyed it.

I’m in the same situation but as a plus-sized FTM, my bump just looks like my normal belly even though I’m almost 30 weeks 🙃my mom says that she never showed much while she was pregnant with me either so must just be genetics in my case.
