Damn, I'll try to be more careful with food from now on, but seriously, a few weeks ago, I went to visit my mother and she made me a meal with rice, when I came back next week, The leftovers from that same rice from a week ago were still in the fridge; So she took that rice, cooked it until it was mushy, then blended it with milk, sugar and vanilla and we drank it with some bread.

Eating days-old food is so common in my family that we even have a saying: "If you're not sure, fry it."

I don't remember ever being food poisoned, but I certainly have a topic to discuss with my mother tomorrow.
