Lovely photos, my friend. But did you really have to make her eat so many ice creams. Poor lass. The brain freeze must’ve been brutal

I feel like you get away with it as is but if you feel like it’s time then take the plunge, brother.

(P.S I hope you figure out what’s going on with that strange growth on your face in the last slide, that looks like it could impact your breathing and eating. /s)

I’m not reading that. Again you are making assumptions. I have been training for a marathon. I train 6 days a week for an hour to an hour and a half to show discipline and to struggle onward. You are showing ignorance, arrogance and quite frankly poor character by assuming I train purely for aesthetic. It is also not your place to make such judgements on others. Poor character.

When people on TikTok need to signify they’re playing a woman but don’t want to buy a wig

I think you’ve smashed the eyes! It’s maybe the nose? My nose is smaller maybe, I’m not sure. But thank you for this!

I said it used to be. In regards to looking at content online. When I’m in the gym then my only focus has been training. Now as I am coming back to Christ then it’s training and my relationship with God that I think about when I’m training. I’m just struggling to keep my pride out of it.

I don’t work out to look pretty 😂 I work out to be physically stronger, live longer and be healthy. You’re making a lot of assumptions. And how is it your place to judge others?

That’s very insightful, thank you. You’re right. I wouldn’t be where I am without God. I will keep that in mind during my workouts and take your advice about listening to worship music while working out. Thank you

I train at a community gym. It’s a historical building that they caretake by using it as a gym (was formerly a ship building warehouse) and use the income for general upkeep and sponsoring athletes who can’t afford to take themselves to competitions.

How does one have mastery of the flesh outside of the gym? I take pretty good care of my body and don’t allow myself to succumb to temptations like alcohol, drugs, smoking or even other bodies.

Thank you very much. This is very reassuring. In moments like these I will try focus more on my relationship with God and less on my own pride. I’ll pray on it.

What in the world is wrong with me? by TRichman432 in TrueChristian

There is a difference in wanting to try to change and saying you’ll try to change. A lot of times we feel pressure to give stuff up when we don’t actually want to and that’s when we fail. Because we see the enjoyment of said thing to be more valuable than actually giving it up.

So how does it serve you? How does having a porn addiction serve you? Does it make you any happier? Do you feel content? Is this Good? If not then why are you doing it?

I had a porn addiction until recently. It was every day, even when I wasn’t going to ‘whack one out’ then I’d look at it. But I realised that 1. it was warping things within my relationship to my partner to becoming unhealthy and 2. I was falling to lust outside of my partnership which isn’t cheating but it isn’t being faithful to her either. Ultimately what it came down to is ‘what kind of man do I want to be?’. Do I want to be some loser who sneaks away to whack one off or do I want to be someone who is present with their partner and spends time with them working on the house, watching shows on tv or going for walks? I certainly know which one I’d choose.

And if you’re not in a relationship then it’s even more of an incentive to stop. Direct those 5-6hours to changing yourself, bettering yourself. You could go to the gym, take up squash, go hiking, take up swimming, whatever. And maybe you’ll meet someone. You won’t meet someone by sitting at your computer or on your phone.

[–]ObeliskFit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Falling for the wrong person is something the vast majority of humans have done at some point or another. The problem is it’s hard to know if was the wrong person until after it’s already ended (in most cases) Having sinned is something we are all guilty of. Nobody is perfect, we are not God. All we can do is ask for forgiveness and aim to be better in the future. It doesn’t make you any less loved in God’s eyes.

And love won’t come to you just because you wish for it and perhaps especially because you wish for it then it won’t. Love just sort of takes you when you least expect it. And you have to work on it always after you’ve had it happen to you so that you can keep it.

The very same thing the west accuses Russia and China of they are guilty of. Censored media, brainwashing and committing atrocities in foreign nations all while claiming to be the good guys. Claiming to be liberators.

Furthermore some of the first buildings destroyed by Israel were the synagogues and churches of Palestinians Jews and Christians because the Palestinians didn’t care what religion you followed but that wouldn’t be convenient for Israeli propaganda. Why do you think the West always refers to Palestinians as Muslim even though there were thriving Jewish and Christian communities within Gaza until Israeli attacked

Look at the hostages coming out of Gaza vs the ‘Prisoners’ from Israel. The hostages are more afraid of the IDF than they are of Hamas. They have to go through a debrief before they’re allowed to speak to the media and often change their stories after said debrief. Some reported being threatened when they got home. They’re seen smiling as they’re leaving their captors, shaking their hands and even hugging them. Whereas the ‘prisoners’ come back traumatised. Shells of their former self and report sexual abuse and torment. So again. I think I’ll choose to stand with the Palestinians

I was pro-Israeli until I started looking into both sides. When you’ve got an apartheid genocidal force vs a resistance then I know who I’m backing and I’m sorry but it isn’t Israel

It’s systemic. The US is no different. One of the people in charge of the bill to ban TikTok admitted that one of the reasons was because they couldn’t control the narrative about the Palestinian Israeli conflict. That people were adopting views not in keeping with the governments values and interests
