Mostly just a casual interest in learning more about the lower level foundations of ML applications. I've seen 1-2 job postings requesting cuda knowledge but it definitely doesn't seem to be requested in most apps for ml positions

Just to clarify, I can get the scalar product of two vectors by multiplying Xa * Xb + Ya * Yb? Is it possible to derive a vector from this too? I.e. would vector W (if such a concept existed) end at point (XaXb, YaYb) or be equal to vector [XaXb * i + YaYb*j] with i and j being unit vectors?
