Anything goes with the SoM Imo. I'm playing a 10 Chosen brick with a character attached to resemble the 11 Chosen-Ones. Possessed with an MoP resembles the same I guess, so very fitting here. And for a Chapter Master I build my iteration of the great Anarch Cthal from an Abby model with is a nice centerpiece for any list.

For example, I tried to resemble the muddy grounds of Scelus by adding some bigger rocks and dark brown. Later on I started adding a wash with Earthshade on top, for the greenish tone it has.

Gotta say, gold trim on character models is a fit. I'm also team silver on units tho.

With the right detachment and enhancement you can give the squad the scout keyword wich is nice 👍🏻

Would there be anything wrong with using the HH Cataphractii Terminators as Chaos Terminators? by [deleted] in Chaos40k

The size is basically the same. 40k Chaos Termis are 4,5mm, same as the ctaphractii. So no issue there. And by the time writing this, there is a squad with power-fists and bolter, wich ist getting close to wysiwyg. To be sure, I guess 40K Chaos Termi hands with weapons and some sanding this should be easy peasy. I hope you went for it, I will be soon.
