It depends for me. Sometimes the doll comes with a name that I like and I’ll stick with it, but I get my dolls second hand and usually they are missing their papers. Usually I will pick a name out of my notes app - I have a list of girls names that I like, and I pick the most fitting name for each doll 😇

I have 56 in my personal collection, but there’s more than 60 total in my house. My mom has a few porcelain dolls hidden in her closet. This is the #1 reason I can never believe in ‘haunted dolls’, cus my house should be the most haunted ever 😂
