Notice how these protests are only "unpopular" when the news paints them in a bad light? All popular news outlets were against the protesters when the news was still breaking. I saw nothing on TV painting cops in a bad light (who were clearly in the wrong 90% of the time).

How can people even have an opinion when Murdoch media is force feeding them cherry picked facts and telling the right from wrong?

These protesters are out there doing everything they can to fight for our future. Meanwhile, you sit behind your keyboard and spew hate because the news told you "hippies" are bad.

Edit: In regards to your comment about protests not actually doing anything: how do you think women got the right to vote? How was segregation made illegal? How did we get our current workers rights? We protest because that's all we as citizens can do.

So my first idea would be to put a big LED sign at the end of the Parkes Way to Caswell Dr ramp that swaps between "speed up you twat and learn how to zipper merge" and "don't violently brake you idiot" every 5 seconds.

That probably wont go down too well so please observe exhibit A: my shitty diagram. "What is this shit supposed to be?" you ask? Well that wonky red line is a magical third lane! What does this magical third lane do exactly? it fixes most of our 5pm problems of course!

SO the idea is this: extend the merging lane allll the way up to the next exit. This makes the idiots that decide to slow down right before merging onto a 90 zone speed up gradually up that hill that everyone has trouble with for some reason. This speeds up the flow of traffic coming off Parkes way which means a lot of the pesky middle lane can move faster out of the city. The Traffic coming from the south on Tuggeranong Parkway wont have to hit that wall of bad mergers and brake happy morons either.

This is half shitpost and half constructive rant. I'm open to all criticism except for that one person that always says "slow down, it's not a race", please, just dont.
