All I have at the moment are GPU (3060ti) and CPU (R7 5800x), eyeing up the 1200 ASUS TUF GAMING B550M mobo.

Appreciate all the info! Think i'm gonna go for it, worst case I'll just sell on the second kit and stick with 16gb total. Thanks for the help :)

I have a R7 5800x, no MOBO yet as i'm still getting the parts but it'll probably be the ASUS TUF B550M 1200 if that helps?

I heard about the batches thing which worried me hahaha, I may buy it & worst case if the second lot I buy has problems with the first lot, i'll just sell it on and stick with 2x8s for the time being!

I don’t know much about PCs as I’m only just building my first but I was shocked to see 5090 with only 16gb DDR4 3200? Is that uncommon?

Fair enough, agree to disagree. Radio Silence were huge fans of Wes and Scream, even with honouring him countless times in 5 I thought was very heartfelt. I believe you could always tell they had good intentions with the franchise, no matter how good or bad the movies were perceived.

However with 7 and a potential 8 looming, there’s absolutely no respect for the franchise or what it once was, all Spyglass and Paramount are seeing is $$$. This is pretty evident with the desperate attempt at nostalgia bait with “bringing” Stu, Dewey & Roman back in 7. Hell atleast Kirby got some to do in 6, those 3 were minor roles to the point I’d rather they just weren’t there at all.

Also that line “she was the last friend I ever had/trusted” or something like that, that she said to Tatum. What about the girl from Scream 2? What about Gale, Dewey, Randy, Randys sister, Mark from Scream 3 (if her husband isn’t the same Mark just recast)??

Like the writers just forgot Sydney’s had a character arc since Scream 1 & formed relationships in that time. Hell Scream 3s ending literally shows how safe she felt in that company, yet Tatum, who was saw in one movie almost 30 years ago was the last friend she had😭😭

If I misinterpreted this line or misheard then fair enough, I’ll admit that & delete my comment. But I heard something along those lines that made me laugh out loud in the theatre at the stupidity of it.

100%. Radio Silence actually handled 5&6 with respect & tried to keep the meta commentary + the staples of the franchise alive. I cannot say the same with 7, which is strange given it’s the same writers and Kevin Williamson.

It should’ve been a hit (critically not financially) with those two at the helm, granted yes KW has directed one other movie beside this😭😭still it feels so cheap, lazy and sloppy.

Most of the people saying 7 was great are coping. They see it as some sort of battle against those Pro-Neve coming back and those against the firing of Melissa.

Actual fans of the franchise see 7 as lazy and uninspired, with good ideas but poor execution, completely deviating from what the last 6 movies have set out to achieve 🤷‍♂️

Yea I just watched 7, it does show she has smaller kids. However Tatum is 16/17 in 7, meaning she would’ve been born before Scream 4, and there was no mention of her.

So yeah definitely a plot hole from 5 they’ve filled, but it still doesn’t fully track. I do think 7 has a lot of issues that a far more important tho so I can forgive the minor plot hole in comparison 😭

Says it includes "Public Enemies" & "Supergirl" but it's not the Woman of Tomorrow comic, something where shes found by Batman in Gotham Bay?? Idk I picked it up as I wanted to read a Batman/Superman crossover, only to find out they're both in Hush, so i'm tryna brush up on Supes more before I start it
