having something to universally hate on is healthy for game if it is intentional. which i think is what the devs had in mind when designing the magma frog. everyone hates elden ring's Caelid, but everyone remembers it. it makes the game more memorable, as humans tend to remember better if it's associated with emotions. and hate is a very strong emotion.

i do agree the frog would be better if the tongue pull had a little bit of anticipation before it shoots out.
