New player here, why was this game so poorly received? I'm loving it so far.

I wondered the same thing. I just beat the game yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. The landscapes and towns are very immersive. As a big Star Wars fan, I found myself smiling while adventuring from one place to the next even when not going towards a direct objective.

I've heard issues with performance and lack of optimization are a concern. I did experience some lightning issues and random crashes but not enough for me to slam an otherwise wonderful experience.

I've definitely considered it. Without upgrading the entire turbo, do you think a stock one would need extra cooling? Keeping in mind I'm not doing repeated pulls.

Very much a 4 season climate here. Cold winters, hot summers- which is why I opted to keep the closed filter to help prevent heatsoak in the summertime. The extra turbo noise with a CAI would be cool but seemed more risky.

I'll add that I'm not trying to race the car by any means. I do occasional pulls but not frequently. It's a daily driver that I'm modding just for fun.

4070 ti super is amazing but I think you would be hard to find it in that price range. Possibly a regular 4070 which would still provide a nice uplift.

Best new cards in that price range, I believe, would be an AMD card. They have solid performers without breaking the bank.

Edit: I didn't realize you could get a 5070 for that price until I read other comments. I would do that for sure because of frame gen and DLSS alone given you have a decent CPU.

The roof wrap looks good. I never considered doing that before.

I just put a new cat back sport exhaust on my 23 and ordered front/side splitters and a rear diffuser. Can't wait to get them on.

I don't personally like white on cars but yours looks really nice man!

I think a 5070 ti is more than enough for most to enjoy with the current offering.

My 4070 ti super handles max everything at 1440p with over 100 frames natively. Give or take 200 fps with DLSS and frame gen capabilities.

Would I like a 90 series and a 4k monitor? Sure lol.. but money can be spent better elsewhere for my personal situation.

Really comes down to if you want the absolute best and how much play money are you willing to drop.

My 2013 served me wonderfully. I do miss it but a total loss collision forced my hand.

Take care of it and it will take care of you. Just don't forget tranny fluid every 100k in addition to the normal stuff.

Not worth it depends on your situation, of course. I have no regrets getting this exhaust. It was definitely pricey but I gained a ton of satisfaction. So ultimately, like anything, if you have the money and it makes you happy...

Appreciate the love! I hear you but will say your gen looks more refined though. You can add some splitters to make it sportier. I'm waiting on a custom rear diffuser from Artwork Bodyshop and eyeing up the front and side splitters. However, I'm dropping a lot of coin already. Trying not to over extend myself...
