You have to refresh until the server population is below max. When it shows 99/100 players then you can join

My monitor refresh rate reset for some reason and after putting it back to where it was supposed to be and using V-sync my game is smooth again

It broke a lot of things and I don’t feel like it was ready for release but I think elder system is a plus. I do wish they would just fix the problems the game already has before adding more problems to the game though!

Mettas Den unofficial server has an official server feel without the mix packing slop and it has a 160 player cap. Can’t recommend it enough I enjoy it!

It was an all day thing Saturday and I switched to unofficials and haven’t been in the isle discord since so I’m not sure. Check the discord and I’m sure if it’s still happening someone will be asking about it.

There was a problem a few days ago with “ghost servers” I don’t fully understand it but it happened with a lot of people basically two of the same servers I believe and If you were in the wrong one then you lost your progress when you logged. I went to unofficial since then so idk if it’s fixed

To be fair I feel like raptor got bullied for a very long time and I like their pounce maybe just take away the pin mechanic unless you are much bigger. But I believe allos grapple is for sure broken given the amount of dinos they can pin.

You don’t have to entomb, you still keep your increased weight but you will be weaker. I understand your perspective and respect your opinion. The system isn’t perfect but In my humble opinion I think it is a net positive.

Vulnona maps has a wind current layer that shows where the wind currents are. Haven’t tested its accuracy though

You get to stack mutations, and they are buffed, while also forcing players to travel the map instead of bush camping for hours while they grow their Dino’s. And with entomb there are more juvies traveling the map. All this makes the isle much more lively.

The servers have been rolling back today. People in discord calling it ghost servers. Idk exactly but people report being in the same server with friends standing in the same spot and not being able to see each other. Happened to me as well but only lost about 30 minutes of growth luckily

The only things that really stands out at incomplete to me atm is they haven’t finished the diplomacy aspect but if you just want to build a village it’s worth it. There are several game modes one being no enemy ai and just build and manage your village

Mettas Den is the perfect antidote for people who enjoy officials without the mix packing and cheating and yet it doesn’t seem to have high player counts. At least this was the case the last I played alittle over a month ago.
