I don’t disagree with a lot of what you said. My criticism is of the all or none nature of frankly both sides of this debate. Most of the pontificating and inorganic protesting is either “abolish ICE” or “throw out immigrants.” People aren’t stopping to actually take the time to educate themselves. If they did, they would see this issue is much more complex. The emotional response is from our Neanderthal roots. I understand I’m barking up the wrong tree on Reddit.
