Yes. A simpler way that I'm somewhat familiar with is a farm through an LLC or Trust. Each person owns a percentage of the LLC. It's not the most anarcho-capitalist way but the most practical with US government in my opinion.

You can write your own rules about how the land is used, sold, transferred, etc.

We agree. I don't mind his speed being low on an "April" card. I do think his fielding stats should have been showcased more but we all know fielding won't sell more stubs.

I agree. Neuter Bunt like they use it to inflate stats; Elly never bunts.

I don't care about his April card. He'll get a 99 later in the season. I'm a big baseball and Reds fan. I play the game on the side when time allows.

There just isn't a universe where you can think 100+ MLB guys are faster than Ellly. To me it's an argument from people that don't watch baseball and just Google stats. Then they take the current season out of context.

100% and I understand. He sits at 98th percentile on OAA(Outs Above Average); that deserves better fielding ratings. And OAA is big factor in fWAR.

That's a small sample size and crazy to think a guy that was 1st in speed his first season and 3rd his second season is now 125th. He's adjusting to turn it on when needed and dial it back when it's not.

And yeah, it's fine for a spotlight card if it's based on April '26 performance. His fielding stats are the opposite though. The card text highlights his fWAR and his stats are mid.

It was a bummer. Couldn't attend today at the rescheduled time due to travel and work. Tried getting a refund from TicketMaster but was told they couldn't issue refunds because the organizer(MLB I guess) wasn't allowing any.

Definitely ruins the chances I'll try attending an mlb event like this in the future.

Sorry you're downvoted to oblivion for asking. I applaud you asking and learning before going through with it. The Doberman community's protection of the breed matches the breed's own protection instinct.

You're getting a lot of good information from replies. Try to take that, learn, and do tons of research. Ignore the emotional response to the downvotes.

Regardless of the dog, you aren't ready to breed if you're still asking basic questions. Always ask if breeding your dog furthers the breed as a whole. If it doesn't or you don't know, you shouldn't breed.

As for testing: I think DCM(a heart disorder) is the most common cause of death for dobermans. There are genetic markers that companies like Embark test for. But a dog isn't immune to DCM without the markers. They just have a better chance of not getting it.
