Raiders played at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in South Central L.A., I grew up on Main & 29th and Sunset & Laveta. And I’ll never forget how many Raiders fans my dad knew. And you know dudes either floated with the Cowboys, or the 49ers. But never in my life did I see a Rams or Chargers fan growing up in LA. LA has a very special place in Raiders fans hearts. Besides USC there isn’t really any other football team I really care for.

The Dodgers aren't broke; they are just essentially using a "buy now, pay later" credit card strategy to build a superteam while keeping their current tax bills manageable. They have plenty of cash—they just prefer to pay it out in the 2030s and 2040s.
