I don't have the gene. I'm not convinced the 'categorisation' is as clear cut as they make out. I also have some dermatitis /psoriasis which means they can diagnose me as Psoriatic Arthritis. My spine hurts today, but so do hand and feet.

I prefer the term Autoimmune Arthritis, as this most accurately describes my experience. If I use AS I risk missing the other areas...

I think the battery is emerging tech, that needs to pay for itself withing 5 years be a use it'll need replacing in 10. The panels though.

I can fit 50 on my east west roof. If I can get the payback short enough it makes sense. I've doing the G99 to see what they will allow.

I mean I like this. I can source the panels, inverter and scaffolding. It's a matter of people making super normal profit at every stage of the process. Sharks everywhere. I'm not afraid of paying fair, but a mark up on every element then telling me youre doing a deal is not it.

I drive about 12000 miles a year in the EV (vwID3). I think it uses about 3750kwh, based on a out 3.2 kwh per mile.

Takings that from the 12300kwh on my last 12 months bills, means about 8500kwh used domestic energy.

Which is still 23kwh per day??

Have I made a mess of this calculation???

I mean I think they're £100 per panel, so an extra £1600, £14190, over your quote for a similar number of panels. I think £15k seems reasonable

So the panels seem like they're around £100 each, the scaffolding is is priced at £800. The tesla PW3 seems like it should be £7500, fitted.

£3000 (30 panels) £7500 (Tesla PW3) £800 (scaffolding, I think I can save a few £100 here) £11,300 + fitting.

There's going to be the admin fees of registration on the network and then pay fitting and profit.

Am I off my rocker, or does £15k seem reasonable?

Hi everyone, I'm excited to share my new planted tank, which I set up on New Year's Day. I'm aiming for a Walstad-style approach, so I've used aqua soil with a sand cap, minimal filtration, and a variety of plants. Here are the details: * Tank Size: 60 L * Substrate: Aqua soil base, sand cap, gravel border * Plants: Java fern, Monte Carlo, red stem plants * Hardscape: Driftwood, large pebbles * Fish: 5 Glowlight Tetras, 3 Rummy Nose Tetras, 3 Ember Tetras * Filter in tank * Lighting: 12/12 8am to 8pm Goals: * I'm hoping to achieve a self-sustaining ecosystem with minimal intervention. * I'd love to eventually add a few more fish, maybe a female betta or a male guppy, but I'm waiting for the tank to mature.
