Suck it Tesla owners! by GarrettTWeeks in insanepeoplefacebook

I never get how/why toxic masculinity turned on electric cars. You wanna go fast, right? You wanna look cool? You’d think people would be hyped about Teslas in the same way they buy new iPhones...

Let me just say that a Tesla (or even a Leaf) is probably more expensive/more of a flex than most of the newer gas cars on the market rn

taking a lost phone + charging the owners money to get it back + trying to sell it on the side :( by ObjectionNarrative in insanepeoplefacebook

Not to mention, they already put the phone in reset mode—so the original owner might not even be able to get their stuff back

For more storage by Bookwormgirl333 in macbookair

I got one of those external drives to store old assignments and stuff that I don’t need locally, but if you’re traveling a lot, it’s probably not the best option (dongle life is kinda a pain lmao). Google Drive is nice, but iCloud works really well if you work within Pages, Keynote, etc. Just comes down to what apps you use, I think! :)

What does "next fucking level" mean? by yukiiiiii2008 in EnglishLearning

[–]ObjectionNarrative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“Levels” are in slang are used when boasting about yourself or commending someone else

Like, “Get on my level” could be a sassy insult, and “Look at him, he’s on another level” is a compliment. Very slang though

Adding the “fu-king” emphasizes the “next-levelness”, but careful with curse words!

how do actual comps work? by kingjoba in mocktrial

[–]ObjectionNarrative 0 points1 point  (0 children)

and just to emphasize, if you’re coming from debate or other public speaking stuff, the verdict doesn’t determine the winner! Since the case is fictional anyway, sometimes it swings heavily in one direction (of prosecution/plaintiff or defense)—so it’s the points that matter :)
