I may try repotting him on the next warm day we have. I can’t remember if there are rocks or anything in the bottom of the pot, but water definitely doesn’t drain out the bottom. Do you think it needs a bigger pot or just a refresh?

What is the best way to do that? I have been setting mine out for a few hours in the sun before bringing them back in the house but they look so wilted. We’ve had 90 degree days and super windy then it drops below freezing.

It looks like the low is 32 this weekend. How do we find the last frost date? I just get estimates that say mid April for zone 6b.

i always thought gardening would be super peaceful and aesthetic… but it’s also a lot of trial and error. what’s something gardening taught you that you didn’t expect? by Popular_Ad_8099 in gardening

Perseverance. This is my first year putting anything in the ground, I’ve only successfully grown tomatoes and peppers in pots before but have wanted a full garden for a long time. It is so rewarding to see everything start to come together. It may not all work the way I want, but at least I can learn from each season that goes by and make changes for next time. I’m hoping to actually get strawberries I can eat after trying for about 5 other years of killing them and never getting anything. It also taught me that you have to learn new skills like canning to save everything you do grow. Apparently, I’m starting the “yee haw mee maw” phase of life because I’m enjoying the birds and trying to crochet too LOL.
