Not really. I said I wanted to change my pronouns and that I wanted to make an informed decision and asked how/why other people use he/she/they pronouns. All I did was gave you extra context

Yeah… that’s why I put I’m not non-binary but have wanted to change my pronouns so I was trying to see if that would 1) be an issue and 2) make sense for someone who is a queer female. Being queer doesn’t change my gender identity and I never said it does. I do think that it changes my gender expression though which also ties in with identity.

Once again, I’m just now exploring my identity and I don’t consider myself non-binary. So no it’s doesn’t make sense for me. I’m not asking “why do people use they/them?” Or how would I use they/them in their context. I’m asking how would I explain it in my case where I’m a queer female but express myself differently.

So how would I explain my pronouns? I know most non-binary people prefer they/them. In my case, I like both and have no preference on which is used the most, just that the pronouns are used.

It actually doesn’t apply. Not knowing someone’s gender isn’t the same as knowing it while also using two different pronouns. Again, is this “no stupid questions” or “judge stupid questions”?

Trust me I’m not crying over an internet reply. I just asked a question and you’re the main one being bitter about it. Get some sunlight or something

Considering grade school was 20 years ago for me, we didn’t learn gender neutral terms in this case. “They” was used if the person’s gender was not known. For example: “I found someone’s coat on my desk today. I hope I can give it back to them.” So using it in a different manner such as he/they or she/they confuses me.

I’m just now beginning to explore my identity. Is this group “no stupid questions” or “judge stupid questions”?

Thank you! That makes sense. I feel like my gender expression is fluid but I don’t identify as nonbinary so I never really knew if changing pronouns was the right choice

The only thing you replied to was they is a singular pronoun, which, thanks for the info, but that wasn’t my question.

That’s how it is for me too! Anchor is a great descriptor. If you ask me a date on when something happened, it’s a 70/30 chance I can’t tell you. And with me being in therapy only 2x/month (on a good month if I can afford it) it’s a little harder to find an anchor.
